Scientific conference

SEAS (Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis): another point of view on scoliosis-specific exercises

SEAS (Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis) is a method of scoliosis conservative treatment based on specific exercises. Based on the published scientific papers, SEAS is one of the few methods internationally considered effective and able to change the natural history of the disease.

The conference will be devoted to the succinct description of this approach and the explanation of some of the substantial differences between SEAS and the other methods. A quick summary of the scientific publications traceable on PUBMED will be made and the data of a typical clinical case will be provided. A participant will be asked to simulate a patient while the other participants will be encouraged to participate in collective reasoning to simulate the organization of a treatment session.

Presented by Michele Romano, PhT. MRSc.
